Swedish rockers The Devil Wears Nada’s Debut Album ‘Postalgia To Be Released May 24th

Swedish melodic rock band THE DEVIL WEARS NADA proudly announce the release of their new single and lyric video, “Late Night Talking,” as well as their highly anticipated debut album, Postalgia, due out via renowned U.S. hard rock label Eonian Records with presales opening Friday, April 18th.

Fusing 80s melodic rock nostalgia with eerie theatrical flair, Postalgia is a dynamic debut that channels the golden age of AOR with a bold, modern twist. Bursting with high-octane anthems, haunting melodies, and storytelling drenched in theatrical drama, the album draws clear influence from icons such as Alice Cooper, Ghost, and Lordi – while carving a distinct sound of its own.
“Postalgia began as my escape during the pandemic—an outlet when the world felt upside down,” shares drummer and founding member Ludvig Alfvén. “It took two years, 23 demos, and a whole lot of trial and error before we landed on the final version. This record is the heartbeat of who we are.”

THE SOUND: NOSTALGIA REDEFINED

Hailing from Falköping, Sweden, THE DEVIL WEARS NADA merges the arena-ready melodies of Scandinavian AOR with a love for horror aesthetics and vintage hard rock energy. The result is a nostalgic yet fresh soundscape that recalls acts like Da Vinci, FM, 220 Volt, and Alien.
Guitarist Henrik Westergren describes the band’s sound as “a melting pot of ’70s and ’80s influences paired with our shared obsession with eerie, theatrical storytelling.”
“It’s Ludvig’s songwriting sensibility mixed with our collective love for the bizarre and dramatic,” Henrik adds. “It creates something that’s both familiar and unsettling—in the best way possible.”

THE RECORDING PROCESS: CHAOS MEETS CHARISMA

Bassist/vocalist Fredrik Svensson Carlström, who also co-produced the album, recalls unconventional recording conditions that helped shape the album’s raw sonic edge: “Some of the biggest sounds were recorded in what could only be described as a grungy wasteland. But that rawness gave the album its punch.”
The album’s remastered edition – previously released in ultra-limited form under the name Adecence – now sees full-scale international release under THE DEVIL WEARS NADA, complete with two brand-new studio tracks, a cover of Nestor’s “1989,” and a deluxe booklet featuring exclusive artwork and liner notes.

SIGNING WITH EONIAN RECORDS

Partnering with Eonian Records marked a major milestone for the band: “Ryan and Stephen at Eonian just got it from the start,” says Ludvig. “They understood the heart of this record and gave us a home where our vision could thrive.”
“They’ve crafted a sound that blends melodic rock and classic hard rock effortlessly,” says Ryan Northrop, Eonian Records. “Sharp, vibrant, and totally addictive – Postalgia is one of the standout hard rock albums of 2025.”
Stephen Craig, Eonian Records, adds: “The Devil Wears Nada are not only incredibly talented—they’re some of the most dedicated and down-to-earth artists we’ve ever worked with. Big things are coming from this band.”

THE DEVIL WEARS NADA will celebrate the release of Postalgia with a hometown show on May 30th in Sweden, followed by a support slot for acclaimed Swedish artist David Lindgren on July 25th in Karlsborg.

The journey continues – album number two is already in the works. “We’re already deep into writing the next record,” Ludvig teases. “Studio time is booked for this summer. This is just the beginning.”
