Rising singer-songwriter, Levi Evans has returned with his brand new single “Mile High”. The upbeat track is available to stream and download beginning today HERE. Watch the song’s official music video on his YouTube channel HERE.
“Mile High critiques the symptoms of capitalism and our obsession with fame, highlighting how people often compromise their well-being, relationships, and the present moment in pursuit of their goals. Once they’ve achieved these goals, they realize the emptiness they’ve been striving to fill can never truly be satisfied,” share Levi. “The song encourages us to pause and appreciate the moment, reminding us to be mindful and take time to smell the roses.”
On “Mile High,” Levi builds momentum through a steady verse before bursting into a soaring, chantable refrain. Further highlighting his self-sufficient approach, the song was written by Levi, and co-produced and co-mixed by Levi and Howie B. He also illustrated the track’s artwork, and co-directed the music video alongside Kelli Hsu. Levi stars in the video, which sees him fully embrace the present moment during a debaucherous evening as an uninvited guest in someone else’s home. Watch it HERE.
“Mile High” marks Levi’s third single of the year, and follows the February release of the wildly infectious “Run” and April release of heartfelt “Lay Me By Your Side”. Rolling Stone hailed “Run” as a “song you need to know” and featured portraits of Levi on their Instagram. Levi just played his first live show of 2025 at Los Angeles, CA’s Genghis Cohen earlier this month. On June 17 he will perform alongside his newly-assembled live band at New York City’s Berlin. Levi’s recent singles follow his debut 2024 EP Head Chatter. His previous releases, including his breakout track “Back In My Head Again,” received praise from American Songwriter, KCRW, Hot Press, Wonderland, and more. Outside of his solo work, he is a member of the beloved Los Angeles 9-piece collective, NOFUN!.
Levi embarked on his first tour in 2023, providing direct support to Little Image on their Self Titled tour. The trek saw him perform to sold-out crowds in 24 cities across North America. Following the run, Levi and NOFUN! joined Atmosphere for multiple legs of their 2024 tour, including a stop at Morrison, CO’s famed Red Rocks Amphitheater. NOFUN! is already scheduled to appear at numerous UK and European festivals this summer, including Pinkpop, TRNSMT, Latitude Festival, and Wilderness Festival.
