Four-time GRAMMY-nominated band The Fray officially launched their How to Save a Life: 20th Anniversary Tour this weekend with a trio of sold-out shows in Dallas, Austin, and Houston. The global run celebrates the band’s landmark 2005 debut album and has proven that fan enthusiasm remains stronger than ever, with 33 dates already sold out and limited tickets remaining for the rest of the tour.
The tour will visit more than 20 cities across the U.S. -including New York, Nashville, Chicago, and Los Angeles – before heading overseas for shows across Europe, the UK, Australia, and the Philippines. The final performance will take place December 12 in Manila.
Tickets and VIP packages are available now at www.thefray.com. VIP options include meet-and-greet opportunities with the band and exclusive merchandise bundles.
Originally released in 2005, How to Save a Life became one of the defining albums of the 2000s, earning four GRAMMY nominations and producing multiple chart-topping hits including the 5x Platinum title track and “Over My Head (Cable Car).” The album topped the Billboard 200 and has now surpassed 12 billion global streams, underscoring its enduring legacy.
In celebration of the tour, The Fray also released a brand-new single, “My Heart’s a Crowded Room,” available now via The Orchard. Written and produced by band members Joe King, Ben Wysocki and Dave Welsh, alongside Jason Suwito, the track blends the band’s signature emotional depth with a more hopeful, expansive sound. “I’ve heard it said, ‘trust your inner voice,’ when in reality, I think we have a crowded room of voices within us,” says King. “To me, our inner contradictions are one of the most fascinating forms of complexity. I think we speak more honestly to the world, and learn compassion for ourselves and others, when we can accept all of our beautiful contradictions.”
The U.S. leg of the tour will feature support from The Strike, Landon Barker, Cassandra Coleman, verygently, gavn!, and Megan Burtt on select dates. St. Lundi will join the UK and European shows, while Joan & The Giants will appear on the Australian dates.
