The Castellows have released “Mr. Right” and “Closer Still,” introducing two songs produced by Frank Liddell. The October 30 pairing places the Georgia sister trio’s three-part harmonies in contrasting settings: a moving-on ballad and a hymn-like song.
The songs mark the next recording chapter for Ellie, Powell and Lily, according to Warner Records Nashville. The group also has December 27 and 28 performances scheduled in Ketchum, Idaho; a date for its forthcoming debut album has not been supplied.
Two songs, one new chapter
Warner Records Nashville describes “Mr. Right” as a moving-on ballad and “Closer Still” as a more traditional, hymn-like recording. Ellie, Powell and Lily bring their shared harmonies to both songs. The label also lists a spring appearance at Moon Crush in Miramar Beach, Florida, on the April 23–25, 2027 festival weekend.
